For the love of the beach, my husband and I fell in love with Sunset Beach 20 years ago. The peaceful shoreline, breathtaking sunsets, and welcoming community captured our hearts from the very beginning. Sunset Beach became even more meaningful to us when we were married there, making it not just a favorite destination, but a place woven into our love story. After years of dreaming about coastal living, two years ago, we made Sunset Beach our home, and we have loved every moment of being part of this beautiful area and the lifestyle it offers.

Before beginning this exciting chapter, I was employed for many years as an Executive Assistant, Legal Assistant, and PA School Counselor Administrative Assistant. In these roles, I developed strong organizational and communication skills, along with a deep appreciation for helping families navigate important life decisions with care and confidence.

I am also a proud mom to two wonderful children. My daughter, Samantha, is a successful chiropractor in Gilbert, SC, and a graduate of Sherman College of Chiropractic in South Carolina. My son, Nick, is a successful Sales and Marketing Associate for a Fortune 500 company in Cincinnati, Ohio, and a graduate of High Point University, NC.

Family, faith, hard work, and a deep love for Sunset Beach define this wonderful season of life.

Legal Assistant

My role as the Legal Assistant at the Elder Law and Life Care Planning Center has profoundly shaped my understanding and passion for law. I have witnessed first-hand the deep impact it has on clients' lives and have seen how the practice provides clarity and stability for families navigating the complexities of life. Estate planning brings comfort and security in uncertain times. Assisting clients with the estate planning process has given me exposure to the precision and responsibility required within the legal field. It has deepened my respect for thoughtful drafting, structured reasoning, and creative solutions, which crystallized my decision to pursue law school.

In practice, I have observed how a single word choice in a document can alter its enforceability. Watching our attorney anticipate complications and encourage our clients to think outside the box to create practical solutions has reinforced my respect and discipline for how I approach my work.

As I evolve professionally, I become more intentional. These experiences have sharpened my confidence in handling multidimensional material, qualities I intend to bring with me to law school.

My journey here continues to inspire and equip me to adeptly serve clients facing diverse challenges. I’m confident that my experience here will only empower me to advocate more effectively for future clients in need.

In my “spare time” (what’s that?) I love to get out in nature with animals, scuba, explore restaurants and enjoy time at home gaming or watching movies. I also happen to be the favorite uncle of the world’s cutest princess.

Law Firm Administrator and Office Manager

As the Law Firm Administrator and Office Manager, I bring more than twenty years of dedicated administrative experience to our practice. My career has been shaped by a deep commitment to service, organization, and creating environments where both clients and colleagues feel supported, informed, and genuinely cared for.

I hold an Associate’s degree in Health and Physical Education, and I am actively pursuing further studies in nutrition—a passion rooted in my belief in living a life centered on health, wellness, and vitality. This personal commitment aligns naturally with the work we do as an Elder Law firm. Our mission is to guide individuals and families through comprehensive, holistic planning for both their immediate needs and their inevitable futures. My background in wellness enhances my ability to approach our clients’ journeys with empathy, clarity, and a whole-person perspective.

Beyond my professional life, I am blessed with a wonderful family. My husband, David, and I have been married for 13 years and together for 15. We are a blended family with four beautiful children—ages 23, 21, 17, and 13—who keep our lives full, lively, and meaningful. Our home is built on faith, and we strive to honor our Christian values in every relationship we cultivate, both personally and professionally. Loving the Lord with all our hearts guides the way we serve others, treat people, and approach the work entrusted to us.

In every role I hold—administrator, wife, mother, and believer—I am committed to fostering connection, offering compassion, and supporting the well-being of those around me.
