Online Webinar through Zoom

My husband and I watched the webinar, "Age Like You Mean It," and found Helayne's presentation of the firm's Elder Law Life Care Planning just what we were looking for! We plan to move to NC in the Spring and felt such a comfort in the practice from the expertise of all details from long-term care, POA, and meeting the client's needs and desires, to the rapport she shared with her us, her audience. We plan to retain their services based upon this webinar and the impression we received!

Do you and your loved ones a favor. Take the workshop. It's an eye opener. Then engage the Elder Law and Life Care Team to guide you through a thoughtful process that will result in a legally sound situratino tailored for you and your family. Each and every member of the staff my husband and I interacted with is a gem unto themselves. You won't regret it.

I don't see how Helayne could improve her presentation. She is an excellent speaker and the venue was perfect. I have no criticisms, only praise. Handouts were professional and perfectly presented. Thank you!

Age With Purpose Fall 2019

In 2019, millions of people will receive the shattering news of a dementia diagnosis, like Alzheimer's Disease. What many do not realize is that many forms of cognitive decline are preventable. By planning ahead, in terms of our physical and cognitive health as well as our legal and financial wellness, we can make a difference in how the second half of life plays out.

Helayne Levy Payne is the founder of the Elder Law & Life Care Planning Center: A Practice With Purpose, an elder care and special needs law firm offering quality representation to clients throughout southeastern coastal North Carolina. Together with Martin Case of Healthy Living NC, Helayne has brought together a team of experienced leaders in the health and planning arena to share their knowledge with the public.

On Wednesday, October 2, 2019, Age With Purpose takes over Odell Williamson Auditorium at Brunswick Community College for a day of groundbreaking presentations. We'll be specifically looking at how strategies for healthy living can help improve cognition and avoid dementia. We will discuss the importance of legal and financial planning as part of an overall strategy for peace of mind and confidence as we face this next phase of our lives, head-on.

Speakers for Age With Purpose include:

  • Dr. Kelli Kirksey, Ph.D., Holistic Psychotherapist presents "Self Care: "The New Medicine for Brain Health."
  • Mary Trybuskiewicz RD, LDN presents "Eating for a Healthy Brain."
